The newest episode in the Star Wars saga, The Force Awakens, is coming to Zen Studios' digital pinball games next week. Two tables in the Star Wars Pinball series — for Zen's Pinball FX2 and Zen Pinball 2 — will arrive Jan. 12, according to an official announcement.
Those two tables will give digital pinball wizards control of the good guys and the bad. You can see one of them in in action briefly in the teaser trailer above, but here's Zen's official description for each:
Star Wars Pinball: The Force Awakens Table follows events from the recently released Star Wars: The Force Awakens movie. Players will team up with the Resistance and fight against the First Order alongside such heroes as Rey, Finn, and Poe Dameron. It features all-new table-transforming environment mechanics that allow you to visit locations from the film and twelve action-packed story modes taking you through its most thrilling moments. The Star Wars Pinball: The Force Awakens Table is an intergalactic adventure that no Star Wars Pinball fan will want to miss!
Star Wars Pinball: Might of the First Order puts players in command of the First Order, tasked with extending its power to many planets in the galaxy. Expand its rule beyond the outposts of civilization, and enforce its will in already controlled territories. Star Wars Pinball: Might of the First Order features an innovative two-level playfield where you must use the special ball-lock system on Kylo Ren's playfield to crush the Resistance, and control your own Star Destroyer with the help of a special magnetic upside-down ramp!
Those tables will be sold in a pack for Zen Pinball 2, Pinball FX2 and the stand-alone Star Wars Pinball platforms on PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, PlayStation Vita, Windows PC, Xbox One and Xbox 360 starting Jan. 12 for $4.99. They'll be available for purchase individually as in-app purchases on Mac for $2.99. For Zen Pinball and Star Wars Pinball on Android, iOS and Amazon mobile devices, each table will cost $1.99.
