Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice isn't out yet, but director Zack Snyder is already fending off criticism from fans.
In an interview with MTV, Snyder admitted he had received flack about giving away too much information in the few trailers that have come out. He responded, however, by arguing there was far more to the movie than what's been shown off thus far.
"I appreciate people not wanting to know, but there's plenty they don't know," Snyder said. "There's a lot of movie that's not in the trailer."
Snyder added that Jesse Eisenberg's character, Lex Luthor, was a perfect example. Snyder said that although he may come off as quirky and goofy in the trailer, he's actually "a million times more sophisticated."
Snyder's Batman v Superman isn't the only movie that's received complaints for giving too much away in a trailer. Before Star Wars: The Force Awakens was released, fans complained that the quantity of trailers and television spots were giving away too much information.
For those that are trying to go into the movie with as little knowledge as possible, the wait is almost over. Batman v Superman hits theaters March 25.
