Streamer plays Overwatch using bunch of bananas as a controller

And of course he's playing as Winston

Twitch streamer "Rudeism" has carved out something of a niche for himself using non-traditional control methods, including a guitar controller or DDR dance pad, to play games like Rocket League and World of Warcraft for others' enjoyment. The New Zealand-based streamer's latest alternate control scheme is, quite literally, bananas. He played Blizzard Entertainment's Overwatch using a dozen bananas wired to his computer, and you can see how effective that is in the on-demand replay above.

Naturally, Rudeism played as Overwatch's genius gorilla Winston using his banana-based controller. And yes, to answer the obvious question, he already thought about using a peanut butter-based controller.

"I wanted to use peanut butter initially, but it turns out peanut butter doesn't conduct electricity that well," he said during a stream recorded yesterday.

The banana controller scheme uses four bananas for WASD keys, four for mouselook, and one each for fire, jump, shield and ult. Rudeism, aka Dylan, commits to the Winston/banana gimmick for a solid two-and-a-half hours, if you've got a bunch of time on your hands.
