Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare’s second beta weekend open to all on PS4

No preorder necessary

Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare just wrapped up its first multiplayer beta weekend (after extending it a day) and Activision has announced that the second round, this coming weekend, will be open to everyone on PlayStation 4. Previously, it was open only to those who preordered the game.

Beta weekend No. 2 begins Friday, Oct. 21 at 10 a.m. PT and ends Monday, Oct. 24 at 10 a.m. PT. Activision hasn’t said exactly what maps and game modes will be in this test, or if it will hold over some or all of the features seen in the first weekend.

Xbox One owners will still need to preorder the game if they want in on the beta; for PS4 owners, the beta will be a free download in the PlayStation Store. There are no plans for a beta on the Windows PC edition of the game.

Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare launches Nov. 5
