Nintendo will reveal its next console, code-named the Nintendo NX, with a trailer tomorrow morning, the company announced today.

The trailer will go live on Nintendo's website at 10 a.m. ET on Oct. 20. The video will be about three minutes long, according to Nintendo's Japanese Twitter account.

"This preview trailer will serve as Nintendo's preliminary announcement of information regarding the platform," the company said in a news release.

Nintendo said this past April that it will launch the NX in March 2017 worldwide. Reports from anonymous sources have indicated that the system could use cartridges instead of discs, do away with region locking and be a hybrid unit that serves as both a console and a portable gaming system. Fans have been so starved for official details about the NX that they've taken to bombarding social media feeds for Nintendo and even companies like Papa John's.

Tomorrow will be a massive day for video game fans — Rockstar Games is set to release the first trailer for Red Dead Redemption 2 at 11 a.m. ET, just one hour after Nintendo debuts the NX.
