Razer packs GTX 1080 into ultra-slim laptop

Razer today unveiled the latest, most powerful take on its ultra-slim Razer Blade laptop. The 17-inch Razer Blade Pro includes a quad-core i7 CPU, Nvidia Geforce GTX 1080 GPU, up to 2 TB of SSD storage and a RGB backlit low-profile mechanical keyboard.

The laptop, which is expected to start shipping in November, starts at $3,699. The Blade Pro will also include a Thunderbolt 3 connection, 32 GB of DDR4 dual-channel memory and a built-in SD card reader. The whole thing is 0.88 inches thick and weighs less than eight pounds.

The system is Oculus Rift, HTC Vive and OSVR HDK 2 compatible, according to Razer.
