Badges for PAX East 2017 are now available to purchase, the official PAX Twitter account announced just minutes ago.

PAX is selling passes through ShowClix, with an online queue that limits each household to four of each badge type. This time around, only single-day badges (Friday, Saturday and Sunday) are available; PAX announced earlier this month that it was getting rid of three-day passes, as it has done for PAX West. Once customers have chosen badges, they'll have 11 minutes to make their purchase.

Passes for PAX conventions tend to sell out very quickly — sometimes within hours — so if you're interested in attending the show, you'll want to snag a badge as soon as possible.

PAX East 2017 will take place at the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center from March 10-12.

Update: Single-day badges for PAX East 2017 cost $52.50 each, which is 5 percent more expensive than the $50 passes for this year's convention. However, people who are planning to attend every day of PAX East 2017 will have to pay much more because of the elimination of the three-day pass, which cost only $105 — a 30 percent discount over buying individual badges for all three days — for PAX East 2016.

We've reached out to PAX to ask about a discount for customers who buy badges for all three days, and will update this article with any information we receive.

Update 2 (7:20 p.m.): Saturday badges are now sold out, according to the PAX East website. Plenty of Friday and Sunday badges are still available.
