Titanfall 2 has something special for Battlefield 1 players

A titan even Manfred von Richthofen could love

With the release of Titanfall 2 just days away, EA has announced an exclusive skin available only to players of Battlefield 1.

The Titanfall Twitter account announced a Red Baron-styled skin late last week. It marks titans in the classic red and white scheme that German ace Manfred Von Richthofen applied to his Fokker Dr.I triplane.

Cosmetic skins have also been announced for customers of Buffalo Wild Wings, Doritos and Mountain Dew. In addition, those promotions feature access to a special dueling mode, called Coliseum, with higher experience point award totals. The dueling mode will also be accessible via in-game tickets.

Battlefield 1 launched late last week. The globe-trotting World War I campaign arc, combined with the strong multiplayer components, has earned the title lots of critical buzz. Our reviewer said the game “succeeded far beyond my expectations” and stands out as “the best, most complete Battlefield package since 2010.”
