There is a side mission in Watch Dogs 2 that involves a satirical version of pharmaceutical kingpin and full-time villain Martin Shkreli and references the Wu-Tang Clan album that he purchased for $2 million.
It seems that the real-life Martin Shkreli caught wind of this aspect of the game, and livestreamed his reaction to our video. It’s ... strange.
Writing a story about the subject of a mission in a video game watching that mission through a video we made about the mission including him feels a little odd, but here we are.
His reaction, summed up in a single quote? “Pretty lame,” he says at one point. “But I’m glad I’m in a video game.” Any attention is good attention, we guess. He had harsher words on social media.

Which caused the official Twitter account of Watch Dogs 2 to troll him ... using our video.

If he posts a livestreamed reaction to this story, I think we’ll decide to end the chain so this strange situation doesn’t go on forever.
