Though Nintendo launched its amiibo line of figures barely two years ago, certain rare toys in the collection are now "vintage." Thankfully for collectors, Best Buy is bringing these old-school, hard-to-find figures back in stock for a limited time later this month.

Starting Oct. 14, Nintendo fans can again find Lucina, Gold Mario, Pit, Samus, Mega Man and Sonic the Hedgehog in retail and online. Pre-orders are available now for all six figures, each of which are among the most notoriously tough amiibo to track down.

Lucina in particular has gone on to fetch high prices since her spring 2015 release. The Fire Emblem heroine can be found on eBay at prices marked up more than twice the $12.99 asking price.

Despite perpetually limited stock for many popular characters, Nintendo has sold millions of amiibo since the line launched alongside Super Smash Bros. for Wii U. The company has continued to pioneer new ways to sell fans on the game-enhancing collectibles, such as Animal Crossing-branded amiibo cards.
