Stranger Things gang heads to Hogwarts, causes mayhem in new mashup video

We could all use some more magic in our lives

The residents of Hawkins, Indiana, have had to come to terms with the supernatural presence in their lives, so it only makes sense that they’d eventually meet up with another group of magical beings: the witches and wizards of Hogwarts.

In a new video from Comedy Central, "Potter Things," the kids from Stranger Things are invited to Hogwarts to learn a little bit more about magic. It’s not an easy transition for the American kids, who eventually get into fights with Hermione, Harry and Ron, and have to deal with a contemptuous Professor Snape.

The team at Comedy Central does a great job of blending the series into one another and keeping the narrative going, starting with Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, but covering most of the film franchise. Everyone from Dumbledore to Harry and Hagrid makes an appearance, alongside Eleven, Mike, Dustin and Lucas.

Stranger Things, which reportedly kicked off production on its second season today, is available to stream on Netflix right now.
