Harmonix is adding 18 songs to the Rock Band 4 music library in the month of October, including a ’90s sing-along classic: Harvey Danger’s "Flagpole Sitta."
"Flagpole Sitta" is arriving today, along with an earlier ’90s hit: "Stop" by Jane’s Addiction. Later this month, Harmonix will release "Cheap Thrills" by Sia featuring Sean Paul, "Treat You Better" by Shawn Mendes, "Closer" by The Chainsmokers featuring Halsey and "Honey, I’m Good." by Andy Grammer. Each song will cost the usual $1.99.
Ten additional tracks will be available Oct. 18 to people who pre-order Rock Band Rivals, the $29.99 expansion for Rock Band 4 that launches on that date. The add-on includes a multiplayer mode called Rivals and a new story-based career mode called Rockudrama, but does not bring any additional songs to Rock Band 4 except for pre-order customers. Here’s the full list:
- Bring Me The Horizon - "Happy Song"
- Capital Cities - "Safe and Sound"
- Eagle-Eye Cherry - "Save Tonight"
- The Neighbourhood - "Sweater Weather"
- Of Monsters And Men - "Little Talks"
- Pharrell Williams - "Happy"
- Semisonic - "Closing Time"
- Sia - "Chandelier"
- Skillet - "Feel Invincible"
- Weezer - "King of the World"
People who pre-order Rock Band Rivals from Amazon will receive two more bonus tracks, Maroon 5’s "One More Night" and Matchbox Twenty’s "3AM."
All 12 of the Rock Band Rivals pre-order songs will be sold separately in the Rock Band Music Store later this month for $1.99 each. The 10 non-Amazon tracks will be available in a bundle, the "Rock Band Rivals Launch Pack," for $15.99.
