Grand Theft Auto Online indulges every frustrated 40-something's motorcycle gang fantasy beginning today with the free Bikers update, which introduces all the activities and distinctions of a 1-percenter motorcycle club to the open world of Los Santos and Blaine County.
Bikers allows groups of eight players to form an MC, including membership ranks common to motorcycle club hierarchies — president, road captain, sergeant-at-arms, prospect, etc. These roles come with unique abilities (and responsibilities), including setting a riding formation, starting challenges, or bringing in aid when on a mission.
It looks like the clubhouses these gangs establish will feature some minigames inside, as well as partially clothed women packaging up the meth, heroin or whatever that is. That's if your MC chooses drug dealing as a side business. Some clubs don't dig that and if yours doesn't, there are more noble pursuits like counterfeiting or gunrunning available. All of this stuff will be coordinated by the MC president within a meeting room.
A bunch of new rides have been added to the vehicle fleet, too, ranging from trikes and crotch rockets to the traditional hogs with ape-hanger handlebars. New clothing and tattoo styles will complete your look. Plenty more details are available via Rockstar Newswire.
