Destiny players looking for a greater challenge will be able to play Rise of Iron’s new raid, Wrath of the Machine, on Heroic difficulty starting Oct. 18, Bungie announced today.
Bungie didn’t provide much in the way of specifics — like start time and what the enemy Light level increase will be — but Destiny: Rise of Iron’s Light cap will increase to 400 alongside the release of Wrath of the Machine Heroic mode.
Wrath of the Machine launched on Sept. 23, three days after Rise of Iron, Destiny’s third expansion, was released on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. It took less than three hours for the first team of Guardians to conquer Wrath of the Machine.
One of the few highlights of Bungie's latest expansion, Wrath of the Machine is set in the Plaguelands, the new zone on Earth that Rise of Iron adds to Destiny. It is the game’s fourth raid, following the Vault of Glass, Crota’s End and King’s Fall.
