Our review of PlayStation VR is still incoming, but our reviewer Ben Kuchera has messed around with it enough to have solid first impressions.
"This isn't budget VR," he says. PlayStation VR costs $499 if you order the bundle with the PlayStation Move controllers and the PlayStation camera.
Ben also praised the comfort of the PlayStation VR in his pre-review. We'll have a more in-depth look at the system, including its games, in the coming weeks. But in the meantime you can check out our video review, which includes Ben's thoughts as well as the first impressions of the guinea pigs who filmed this video. We played on a retail version of the hardware, which was provided by Sony.
The PlayStation VR comes with a demo disc which includes chunks of games like Kitchen, which is part of Resident Evil 7: biohazard, and KO_OP's GNOG. Most of these games can be played with a DualShock 4, though some also support the PlayStation Move controllers.
PlayStation VR comes to stores on Oct. 13. Stay tuned for our full review.
