After months of promotional images, Lionsgate finally revealed the first trailer for the Power Rangers movie on Saturday, just before its panel at New York Comic Con.
It’s the first time we’ve seen the group of teenage heroes together as a collective, and most of the trailer focuses on the teens learning how to use their extraordinary abilities. Other facets of the Power Rangers universe that have been teased, including the Zords that the Rangers drive and their ally Zordon, will make an appearance in future trailers.
Power Rangers combines the talents of relatively young and fresh actors with A-list stars like Elizabeth Banks, Bryan Cranston and Bill Hader. Directed by Dean Israelite (Project Almanac), Power Rangers is slated to be released March 21, 2017.
