The last trailer for Rogue One: A Star Wars Story gave us some insight into Jyn Erso’s story, but a new international trailer features a few new scenes with both her and the villainous Darth Vader.
The stand-out moment in the trailer is a beautiful new shot of Darth Vader, with his arm outstretched and nothing but the sound of his heavy breathing. The scene with Darth Vader barely lasts a minute, but it’s a great shot of the franchise’s most iconic bad guy.
In the last trailer, we were given a little more information about Galen Erso, Jyn’s father and the man who essentially built the technology to power the Death Star. That was why Jyn, a misfit miscreant, was picked by the Rebellion to help them stop the construction of it in the first place.
Rogue One, which stars Felicity Jones, Mads Mikkelsen, Diego Luna and Ben Mendelsohn among others, will hit theaters Dec. 16.
