Deleted Suicide Squad scene shows Harley Quinn will do just about anything for Mister J

Just one of many unused scenes between the two

Suicide Squad Warner Bros.

Jared Leto has made no attempt to hide his disappointment that there weren’t more scenes starring the Joker in Suicide Squad, adding that there was more than enough footage left over to make a stand-alone feature.

Leto added that they filmed so many scenes between the Joker and Harley Quinn, played by Margot Robbie, that the two of them could have starred in their own spinoff. Now, in a new deleted scene exclusive to Entertainment Weekly, Harley Quinn decides to prove just how much she loves the Joker by endangering her life to make sure he stops to talk to her. The clip can be seen below.

It’s not hard to see why the scene was cut from the film — Leto’s performance doesn’t particularly stand out — but it’s great to see Harley Quinn get to perform a pretty cool stunt.

Although Suicide Squad itself was devoid of much Joker, the Extended Edition Blu-ray release will supposedly have a ton of unused footage for fans to watch. The deluxe edition of Suicide Squad will be available Dec. 13 from retailers everywhere.
