Fighting games’ premier event, Evo 2017, will be held July 14-16 entirely at the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas. Shoryuken just announced the date and location in the video above.
Dating to 2002, the Evolution Championship Series is the oldest and largest fighting games tournament in the world. The finals of Evo 2016 were held at Mandalay Bay, with earlier rounds at the Las Vegas Convention Center.
The Evo 2017 games lineup has not yet been announced. This year’s final round of the Street Fighter 5 tournament, won by Infiltration, was broadcast on ESPN2, a first for the event.
