Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare looks better on PS4 Pro — but not by much

The PS4 Pro’s additional power makes the game just a bit prettier

Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare is a very good-looking game. But what if it looked slightly better? Curious PS4 Pro owners can find out for themselves. Running on PS4 Pro, the futuristic shooter boasts some minor graphical enhancements. The differences are subtle, and easier to spot on a 4K television. The higher resolution provided by the PS4 Pro means details are a bit sharper, UI elements are cleaner, and tiny particle effects like snow and sparks are easier to make out.

The game runs at a smooth 60 frames per second on both the PS4 and PS4 Pro.

There are also some differences in costuming. Some characters who have hats in the PS4 version do not have hats in the PS4 Pro version. Whether or not this can be attributed to differences in the hardware is still up for debate and requires further investigation.

Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare and the PS4 Pro are available now.
