Ubisoft’s giving away Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon for free this month

Grab it from the Ubisoft Club

Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon Ubisoft

Ubisoft is giving away free copies of neon-soaked Far Cry spinoff Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon this month as part of the publisher’s 30th anniversary celebration. All you’ll need is a Uplay account to download the game from the Ubisoft Club.

The offer is limited to the Windows PC version of Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon, however, and kicks off Wednesday, Nov. 9.

Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon was released in 2013 for PlayStation 3, Windows PC and Xbox 360. The Xbox 360 version is backward compatible on Xbox One (and will be included as part of November’s Xbox Games With Gold lineup). The follow-up to Far Cry 3 puts players in a retro-futuristic open world steeped in ‘80s action movie references and spawned a spinoff of its own, Trials of the Blood Dragon.

Ubisoft’s free digital PC game giveaway is part of the company’s 30th anniversary. The company has already given away free downloads of Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time, Splinter Cell, Rayman Origins and The Crew, and is currently offering Beyond Good and Evil for free.
