WHAT TO EXPECT
In addition to gameplay previews of Prey and The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, we should see also see footage of Mass Effect Andromeda and The Walking Dead: Season 3, which will be available on Dec. 30.
Gameplay footage of those titles and any others will be the focus of this year’s event. Geoff Keighley, host of The Game Awards, previously stated that he wanted this year to focus on more substance and less sizzle.
Of course, there are also the awards. The nominations this year show games like Uncharted 4: A Thief's End being nominated across eight categories and other notable games like Overwatch, Inside and Firewatch receiving a wealth of nods as well.
