Watch BlizzCon 2016's opening ceremony livestream here

Blizzard will reveal the latest on Overwatch, Warcraft, Diablo, Hearthstone and more

Blizzard Entertainment's fan-focused convention, BlizzCon, kicks off today in Anaheim, California, where the company is expected to announce new details for games like Overwatch, World of Warcraft, StarCraft 2, Heroes of the Storm and Hearthstone: Heroes of Warcraft. You can watch BlizzCon 2016's opening ceremonies streamed live, right here, starting at 11 a.m. PT/2 p.m. ET via Twitch.

The hourlong keynote may also have something new for Diablo fans — possibly a new expansion or sequel — as Blizzard's action role-playing game celebrates its 20th anniversary this year. Other surprises may also be in store.

BlizzCon 2016's opening ceremony is free to watch for everyone, but if you want to livestream the event's other panels and esports competitions, you'll need a $39.99 BlizzCon Virtual Ticket. Polygon will be at BlizzCon 2016 covering the panels, hands-on gameplay and interviews with Blizzard developers and executives.

The full schedule for BlizzCon 2016, which runs Friday, Nov. 4 through Saturday, Nov. 5, is available at the official website.
