See how Assassin’s Creed’s Ezio Collection on PS4 compares to the PS3 originals

Assassin’s Creed 2, Brotherhood and Revelations get a visual upgrade

Assassin's Creed The Ezio Collection is coming to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One next week, giving current-generation console owners a chance to relive Assassin’s Creed 2, Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood and Assassin’s Creed Revelations on modern hardware. In a new comparison video posted by Ubisoft today, we get a look at how those last-gen games have changed over the years.

The three Ezio-starring games in the collection will come with a bump in resolution (up to 1080p), improved draw distance and a host of improved visual post-processing effects, according to Ubisoft. Other changes, like improved textures and reduced screen tearing, can be seen in the video above, which compares PS3 footage to PS4 footage.

The Ezio Collection will bundle the three games’ single-player campaigns into one package. In addition to the games, The Ezio Collection will include Assassin’s Creed: Lineage, a 36-minute short film that serves as a prequel to Assassin’s Creed 2, and Assassin’s Creed: Embers, an animated epilogue to Revelations.

Assassin's Creed The Ezio Collection will be released Nov. 15.
