There are officially 16 days until Rogue One: A Star Wars Story hits theaters, and that means longer clips have begun rolling out online in anticipation.
The newest clip features a few scenes that have been shown off briefly before of Jyn Erso (Felicity Jones) taking on a group of Stormtroopers with Captain Cassian Andor (Diego Luna). Although it may seem familiar, the clip does provide a better look at Erso in action, and also showcases how comedy will look in the movie.
There’s a scene in the clip that features Jyn Erso and K-2SO, the droid voiced by Alan Tudyk, at a bit of a standstill after an unfortunate, miscalculated gunshot. Although the moment only lasts a few seconds, it’s a great scene featuring the droid that fans haven’t been shown too much of until recently.
Rogue One is the first stand-alone film in the new Star Wars franchise and is directed by Gareth Edwards of Godzilla fame. The film hits theaters Dec. 16.
