Destiny: Rise of Iron’s Plaguelands zone brings an unnatural winter to Old Russia, and we already know that the denizens of Earth still celebrate holidays even in their post-apocalyptic world. Put those two together and you get this incredible Christmas music video.
It’s the latest in the “Saw something weird...” series from the YouTubers at Husky Raid. You may remember them from the Backstreet Boys music video they did last year, after Bungie released the Monster Dance emote with 2015’s Festival of the Lost update.
This time around, Husky Raid went with a different ’90s group: ’N Sync. In fact, the music video contains three Christmas favorites — “Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays” by the aforementioned boy band, “Run Rudolph Run” by Chuck Berry and “All I Want for Christmas Is You” by Mariah Carey.
If the tunes don’t put you in a holiday mood, perhaps you’ll be as wowed as we were by the stunning choreography on display, whether it’s the dancing emotes being deployed on cue, the Sparrows moving in formation, the super attacks illuminating the sky or the exotic weapon Hard Light creating a magnificent light show of its own.
Destiny’s latest holiday event, The Dawning, will bring back the Sparrow Racing League later today.
