The Circle, a film based on Dave Eggers’ dystopian novel about the dangers of Silicon Valley and society’s obsession with technology, finally has a trailer.
Directed by James Ponsoldt (The Spectacular Now), the film stars Emma Watson as Mae Holland, a new recruit of Circle. Think of Circle like Facebook, but far more powerful — it’s one of the biggest companies in the world and has ambitions of not just making everyone’s quality of life better around the world, but also changing how people decide to live their life.

At first, Mae is excited to be a part of a company as powerful and futuristic as Circle, becoming a Circler, but learns pretty quickly that for every luxury Mae is giving, something of equal importance is taken away from her.
The Circle also stars John Boyega, Karen Gillan and Tom Hanks as Bailey, the Steve Jobs of The Circle’s universe.
The film is set to be released April 28, 2017.
