PlayStation Plus members can vote for March's free game

Primary season meets PlayStation

Sony has brought back its Vote to Play campaign to allow PlayStation Plus subscribers to determine which game they get free in March. The company announced the return of the voting period on the PlayStation Blog today.

From Feb. 9 through Feb. 22, the polls will remain open, allowing Plus users to cast their votes for one of three titles: Action Henk!, Assault Android Cactus and Broforce. Voting will take place on PS4 consoles, and the game with the highest number of votes will be added to the March lineup.

The Vote to Play section will be located under PlayStation Plus on the PS4 home menu once Feb. 9 rolls around. Whichever title secures the victory will be added to the rest of the free games offered in March.

Sony used to run the Vote to Play campaign more regularly. The last time the initiative ran was last August, when subscribers elected Grow Home to join the PlayStation Plus selections for September. The other nominees were then discounted in the PlayStation Store as a consolation prize.
