2015's Need for Speed reboot will launch on PC March 17, Electronic Arts announced. It will arrive first on the company's Origin subscription service with members gaining access March 10, a full week earlier than non-Origin users.
When the game, which EA released on consoles back in the fall, makes its PC debut, it will come outfitted with improvements, according to the company. The reveal trailer above teases some of those changes. The PC version will also offer steering wheel support.
Need for Speed players on all platforms will soon be able to use manual transmission in the game, too, EA confirmed. That update will come at an undisclosed later date.
EA delayed the PC launch of its open world racing game prior to its November console launch. Developer Ghost Games explained that it would push that version until spring 2016 in order to achieve better visual performance.
