Game of Thrones season 6 photos confirm certain characters are alive

There's still a couple of months before Game of Thrones' sixth season premieres, but HBO has released a slew of photos that give a little more insight into what fans can expect.

For those that haven't seen the fifth season and are looking to avoid spoilers, consider this your official spoiler warning.

The most important takeaway is that Sansa Stark and Theon Greyjoy are still alive. During last season's finale, audiences were left wondering if the two were alive or dead after they jumped off the wall at Winterfell. Based on these new photos, it's apparent that they are very much alive, but still in danger.

The photos also provided some more details on important characters who will be returning this season, including Bran and Max Von Sydow as the Three-Eyed Raven. For those looking to see what their favorite characters are up to, there's also some great character shots of Tyrion Lannister, Daenerys Targaryan and more.
