This is the first six minutes of The Walking Dead: Michonne, a three-episode miniseries launching Feb. 23 on just about every platform.
The preamble sets up the story of Michonne, a fan-favorite character from Robert Kirkman's comic book who here is voiced by Samira Wiley (Orange is the New Black). Michonne is haunted to the point of hallucination in this opening, yet still deadly with her signature machete.
Over the course of the miniseries, Michonne will join Pete on a search for survivors, finding the scene of a massacre and the person responsible for it.
The Walking Dead: Michonne will feature three episodes, beginning Feb. 23 with In Too Deep. The series is $14.99 and will launch on PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Windows PC and Mac, Xbox 360, Xbox One and also iOS and Android. The $14.99 covers all three episodes; the second and third will launch in March and April.
