Danny Pudi, Alan Tudyk and Christina Kirk are set to join Vanessa Hudgens in NBC and DC Comics' newest venture, Powerless.
The sitcom follows a group of people who work at an insurance company set in a world where almost everyone is a superhero, except for them. Hence the name of the show.
According to Entertainment Weekly, Pudi will play Hudgens' best friend, Teddy. The jokester of the group, Teddy spends the majority of his time thinking up office pranks that make the day go by a little faster.
Tudyk, on the other hand, will step away from his typecast, "nice guy" role and play the newly promoted boss, Del. Son of the company's owner, Tudyk's character is a power-hungry, narcissistic man with no regard for anyone's success, happiness or wellbeing aside from his own.
Kirk, who recently starred in A-Z, will play Del's superhero obsessed assistant, who can't seem to catch a break while working under his cruel policies.
Right now, Powerless is still in the pilot phase, but if everything goes as expected, it should debut later this fall as part of pilot season.
