Dark Souls 3 is getting a deluxe strategy guide with a real Estus flask

Strategy guide maker Prima Games is going all out for Dark Souls 3. The company will release a deluxe version of the game's official strategy guide that comes packaged with Dark Souls' iconic drinkware, the Estus flask.

Appropriately named the Dark Souls 3 Estus Flask Edition, the hardcover, 320-page guide will ship with a resin recreation of the Estus flask, a 192-page journal and a bookmark that might be something of a spoiler, based on its description. According to the guide's listing on Amazon, the 8-inch sculpted metal bookmark is modeled after The Wolf Knight's greatsword, which is described as the weapon of "a knight tainted by the Dark of the Abyss" — which sounds a lot like a callback to a familiar Dark Souls character and his faithful, furry friend.

Prima's guide will be released on April 12, the same day Dark Souls 3 hits PlayStation 4, Windows PC and Xbox One. The guide is priced at $129.99.
