HBO releases Game of Thrones feature with new footage from season 6

Everyone's doing just fine...

HBO has released a behind-the-scenes featurette for Game of Thrones' upcoming sixth season that actually includes new footage from the show.

There are a few moments from the upcoming season that can be glimpsed if you pay close attention, and they provide some interesting information about what lies ahead.

For example, there's a better look at the Dothraki army that Daenerys encountered during last season's finale. According to new information released in the feature, audiences will spend some time with the army this season, making them a group of people you'll want to acquaint yourself with.

The feature also gives audiences their first look at Meera Reed, who we last saw during the season four finale. There isn't too much else to take away from beyond the Wall, but there are some interesting scenes that take place at Winterfell. As you may remember, Ramsay and Roose Bolton are currently in control of Winterfell, but there's a flashback scene that implies change may be coming.

For months, HBO has been teasing the appearance of characters like Jon Snow, who audiences were lead to believe died last season, but hasn't officially confirmed whether he or others will be returning to the series.

Game of Thrones returns April 24.
