Fire Emblem Fates fans wanting to get a head start, or just jonesing for anything to do with the game before its western launch on Feb. 19, can try out all the player customization options with this web app.
The Kamui Customizer lets a player mess around with the different character builds, faces, hair styles and colors and other features. The final image is exportable, but the real value is getting the look right in advance so you can jump right in and play on launch day.
Fire Emblem Fates launched in Japan last June. Certain scenes and elements of that release are not coming west, not without some controversy. Japanese audio will not be available for the stateside edition. "Petting," a gameplay option in which players can be intimate with their teammates, has also been altered. And a scene involving a suggested drugging sequence and an outcome some likened to "gay conversion" therapy has also been removed, according to Nintendo.
