Matt Damon is officially back in action as trained assassin Jason Bourne.
Universal Pictures ran the first look at Damon's return to the franchise during Super Bowl 50. In the 30-second TV spot, Bourne is on the hunt after regaining his memory. Things aren't as they first appear, however, and it's up to Bourne to figure out what's a lie and what's not while rediscovering himself and the world he lives in.
There's also a whole lotta punching happening in the teaser, including a one-punch-KO at the very end. To say Jason Bourne is back and angry would be an understatement.
Universal Pictures also used the spot to announce the name of the film, which had previously just been referred to as Bourne 5. The fifth installment, and the first that marks Damon's return to the franchise after Jeremy Renner starred in the last one, is called Jason Bourne.
Jason Bourne is due out July 29.
