Turkish Airlines announced during Super Bowl 50 last night that it would be providing fliers with two more destination options: Metropolis and Gotham.
The airline had two ads play while the game was on, each focusing on the different fictional cities that Batman and Superman have vowed to protect.
In the Metropolis commercial, for example, there's a speech from Jesse Eisenberg's Lex Luthor that talks about how Lexcorp invested millions into making Metropolis a city people would want to visit again. Although Henry Cavill's Superman doesn't make an appearance until the end, the commercial does zone in on statues of the alien superhero and the public's fascination with him.
The Gotham commercial, however, has playboy billionaire Bruce Wayne (Ben Affleck) front and center, boasting about how Wayne Enterprises essentially returned the city to its former glory. While Metropolis is portrayed as a wholesome, peaceful city, Gotham is toted as the luxurious, fictional answer to New York City that it's always been.
Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice hits theaters March 25.
