Far Cry Primal lets you tame animals for a Stone Age twist on teabagging

That's gonna leave a mark ... and a stench

Far Cry Primal publisher Ubisoft released a new trailer for the Stone Age open-world game today, a video meant to show off the breadth and depth of activities on offer in the game.

At nearly five minutes, it's a long trailer, so we'll understand if you can't watch the whole thing. But you'd be remiss if you didn't at least scrub to the 2:00 mark for the wildest sequence of the entire video: the Stone Age equivalent of teabagging.

In our first look at Far Cry Primal, we got a chance to try roaming around the land of Oros with wild animals at our side. The game's protagonist, a hunter named Takkar, can tame predators such as leopards, bears, elk and wolves. He also has an avian companion, an owl, that he can use to scout enemy encampments and even perform executions.

Animals in Far Cry Primal "provide a variety of useful abilities," says the trailer's narrator, Elias Toufexis, who voices Takkar in the game. As he reads that line, we see a brief clip of what appears to be a saber-toothed tiger mauling an enemy.

The trailer then cuts to the animal urinating on the person's corpse.

Far Cry Primal is set for release Feb. 23 on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, and March 1 on Windows PC.
