This year's Game Developers Choice Awards were dominated by Sam Barlow's interactive detective game Her Story and CD Projekt Red's open-world role-playing game The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt.
Her Story, which also won two IGF Awards earlier this evening for excellence in narrative and the Seumas McNally grand prize, garnered three GDC Awards, doubling up on "best narrative" accolades tonight.
Ori and the Blind Forest developer Moon Studios won both for best debut and best visual art.
The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt won awards for best technology and walked away with GDC's game of the year award.
