Sony released a new expansion pack for LittleBigPlanet 3 today, adding content based on the popular Nickelodeon cartoon SpongeBob SquarePants into the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4 game.
The trailer above shows off developer Media Molecule's version of Bikini Bottom. The downloadable content adds four levels based on the character's classic digs, as well as costumes for Sackboy. Along with the titular sea sponge himself, players can suit up as his best friends Patrick, Sandy or Squidward, along with Gary the snail, Mr. Krabs or even Plankton, his pint-sized nemesis.
Costumes can be purchased individually or in a pack containing SpongeBob, Patrick, Mr. Krabs, Gary and Plankton for $5.99. A level kit, which includes the Sandy and Squidward outfits and SpongeBob-themed level design tools, costs $4.99.
