Superhero procedural Powers will return for its second season on May 31, Sony announced. PlayStation's original scripted series will again run 10 episodes and, as seen in the trailer above, will reunite stars Sharlto Copley and Susan Heyward as they solve superpowered homicides.
Joining the cast this season are actors from cult favorites like Battlestar Galactica and Star Trek: The Next Generation, including Wil Wheaton, according to the Playstation Blog. How big of a role he'll play in the new season — which PlayStation Plus subscribers can watch for free — remains to be seen.
The first three episodes of season two, which Sony greenlit last May, will be available May 31, with the remaining seven to roll out weekly. Season one is available now on PlayStation Network and Crackle; check out our review to find out if it's worth your while.
