Nearly two years after the movie was announced, the first look at the new class of Power Rangers is here.
In the photo, provided to Entertainment Weekly, all five rangers can be seen without their iconic costumes. From left to right, there's RJ Cyler (Blue Ranger), Naomi Scott (Pink Ranger), Ludi Lin (Black Ranger), Becky G (Yellow Ranger) and Dacre Montgomery (Red Ranger).
For many of the actors, this is their first major role in a film. For others, like RJ Cyler, who starred in the Sundance darling Me and Earl and the Dying Girl, it marks their first foray into a blockbuster title.
The five young actors will star opposite Elizabeth Banks, who announced she was joining the movie last month. Banks will take on the role of iconic villain Rita Repulsa.
Power Rangers, which is being directed by Dean Israelite (Project Almanac), is scheduled to be released March 24, 2017.
