Nintendo announced that Monster Hunter Generations is coming to Nintendo 3DS this summer during its latest Nintendo Direct presentation.
The newest entry in Capcom's action role-playing game series will feature a collaboration with Nintendo's Fire Emblem series, Nintendo revealed. A special armor set based on Fire Emblem hero Marth will be available to download in Generations upon release.
The game is a localized version of Monster Hunter X, which launched in Japan last November. That game was first revealed in a Japanese-only Nintendo Direct presentation in May.
Last year, Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate arrived stateside on Nintendo 3DS. Those who played that game will unlock special content in Generations. Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate is on sale on Nintendo eShop for $19.99 for the next 48 hours starting at 6 p.m. ET, Nintendo announced.
