Star Ocean: Integrity and Faithlessness will launch on PlayStation 4 June 28, Square Enix confirmed. The game is now up for pre-order, with a special Day One Edition set available for early adopters.
The fifth Star Ocean game, which arrives on both PS4 and PlayStation 3 in Japan tomorrow, will come with exclusive downloadable content in its first print. These include items that offer various status bonuses and effects.
According to its store page, the game will also have a treat for fans of another Square Enix role-playing game series, Valkyrie Profile. Music from games in that series will be included among the soundtrack choices for battles.
We spoke to Integrity and Faithlessness' director last June, when he told us of how he hoped the game would revitalize the long-running franchise.
