Dead Space is now backward compatible on Xbox One, Microsoft announced. The Xbox 360 survival horror game is the fifth title this week to be added to the list, following Left 4 Dead 2 yesterday and games like Halo Wars earlier this week.
The news comes following the company's reveal of April's Games With Gold lineup. Dead Space is among the games offered to Xbox Live members; it will be available for free from April 1-15.
Electronic Arts first published the game in 2008. It's since spawned two sequels; the most recent of those, Dead Space 3, arrived in 2013. A fourth entry has not been announced, although EA maintains the series has not been canceled.
