Here are some of the big video games releases for the month of April 2016. Be sure to check out the list we put together of our most anticipated games of 2016.

Note: Only games with specific dates are listed below. Some games are announced for April but have no firm release date.

April 5:

Quantum Break01

Quantum Break, (Windows PC and Xbox One) — The long awaited action-drama from Remedy Entertainment will be full of Alan Wake easter eggs for observant fans. Quantum Break will not be available on Steam but you will get a free Windows 10 copy if you purchase the Xbox One release.

April 12:

Dark Souls 3, (PlayStation 4, Windows PC and Xbox One) — The easily-accessible, family-friendly sequel to Dark Souls 2 was released in Japan on March 24, but now is the rest of the world's chance to praise the sun. \[T]/

Ratchet & Clank, (PlayStation 4) — Check out 80 minutes of Insomniac's reimagining of the first game in the long-running shooter-platformer series. Ratchet & Clank will also make the leap to the big screen on April 26.

April 15:


Bravely Second: End Layer, (Nintendo 3DS) — Bravely Default's sequel is soon upon us, check out 16 minutes of gameplay.

April 22:


Star Fox Zero, (Wii U) — You get to fly a retro Arwing in this game, what else do you want? The release includes Star Fox Guard, the final version of an experiment from game designer Shigeru Miyamoto first unveiled at E3 2014.
