Rocket League's basketball mode arrives as part of a free update on April 26. Psyonix confirmed the date with a new trailer above, showing off just how basketball translates to the rocket-powered soccer game.
Available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Windows PC, Hoops Mode will come with a new arena named, appropriately, the "Dunk House," the developer said. Rocket League players won't have to take all their shots from the three-point line, however; the new arena features a net that doubles as a ramp for a new twist on the sport.
For true NBA fans, a downloadable flag pack will be available, featuring the logos of all 30 teams. That gives players the chance to stump for their favorite real life team in Rocket League.
Currently available as a digital-only title, a physical version of Rocket League is coming to PS4 and Xbox One in July.
