Watch the trailer for Adam Sandler's new buddy comedy with David Spade, The Do-Over

Sandler's second Netflix film is ... not looking so hot

After endearing tens of fans with his first Netflix original film, The Ridiculous 6, Adam Sandler is back again, re-teaming with longtime friend and colleague David Spade.

We don't want to call it clichéd, but The Do-Over's plot is, let's say, very familiar to other flicks. It follows Max (Sandler) and Charlie (Spade) as unsuccessful, miserable men who are fed up with not getting the life they dreamed of. After reconnecting at a high school reunion (it's always at a high school reunion), Max and Charlie fake their own deaths and move to another country where they try out a new style of living.

Buckle up, because this is only the second movie in a five-picture deal Sandler has with Netflix. Paula Patton, Sean Astin and Michael Chiklis will also appear in the film.

The Do-Over will be available for all Netflix subscribers to stream on May 27 at 12:01 a.m. PT.
