Mr. Robot, the breakout drama series from last year that followed a group of hackers in New York City, will return to television July 13, USA announced today.
Mr. Robot follows Elliot (Rami Malek), a computer security analyst by day, white hat hacker by night, who's on a mission to take down an evil conglomerate known as Evil Corp. It's during his nightly hacking rituals that he's approached by the illusive Mr. Robot, who introduces Elliot to a team of hackers who go by the name fsociety and are all hellbent on achieving digital and financial anarchy.
The second season will see the return of Christian Slater's Mr. Robot character, as well as Elliot's best friend Angela Moss (Portia Doubleday). Craig Robinson and Grace Gummer are set to join the cast this season, with showrunner Sam Esmail directing every episode.
Mr. Robot premieres July 13 at 9 p.m. ET on USA.
