Metal Gear fans will get a behind-the-scenes look at the creation of Metal Gear Solid 5 later this year, when Dark Horse publishes its 180-plus page artbook, The Art of Metal Gear Solid 5.
The book, which is slated to hit stores Nov. 2, promises "hundreds of pieces of never-before-seen art," Dark Horse said in a release. The Art of Metal Gear Solid 5 will be priced at $39.99 for the standard release. Dark Horse is also planning a limited edition — just 400 copies — which will be packaged in a "tactical slipcase" with exclusive art from illustrator Ashley Wood. Metal Gear fans will remember Wood's art from the comic book adaptations of the first two Metal Gear Solid games.
The Art of Metal Gear Solid 5 will be available at local comic book stores as well as Amazon, Barnes & Noble and Indiebound. Based on its cover art, it should be easy to find on shelves.
